Brynn – Colgan High School

There’s just something about spring evenings at Grace Haven Farm that never gets old. Sunshine, open fields, blooming flowers, the cutest blue barn, and an easy-going senior who was up for anything? It made for the sweetest evening celebrating Brynn’s senior year.

Brynn is a Class of 2026 senior at Colgan High School, and she’ll be heading to Virginia Tech this fall. I already know she’s going to have the best time there!

We started her session wandering through the open fields while the evening light did its thing. Spring had everything looking so green, and the soft sunshine made every corner of the farm glow. Flower farm senior photos are my absolute favorite!

First, Brynn wore the Altar’d State patchwork dress, and it was absolutely perfect with the pretty blue barn. The colors complemented each other so well, and it might have been one of my favorite outfit-and-location combos of her whole session!

Next, she changed into the cutest denim mini skirt paired with a pretty top and cowboy boots. This outfit was made for the flowering bushes around the property. It had the perfect mix of trendy, country, and spring, and Brynn made it all look effortless. We wandered through the blooms, laughed the whole time, and soaked up every bit of that gorgeous evening light.

To finish off her session, Brynn changed into her Virginia Tech t-shirt and pulled out a Tech pennant to celebrate where she’ll be spending the next four years. I have to say… the pennant has easily been one of my favorite senior photo props this season! It’s such a fun way to incorporate props into a senior session and so easy to pose with!

One of my favorite things about Brynn’s session was how easy everything felt. She’s so laid-back, easy to talk to, and always had a smile on her face. It honestly felt like we were just walking around the farm chatting while taking photos along the way. Those are always my favorite kinds of sessions.

Brynn, thank you for trusting me to capture such an exciting season of your life! It was so much fun celebrating your senior year with you, and I know you’re going to do amazing things at Virginia Tech. I can’t wait to see everything this next chapter has in store for you!
