Avery – Monticello High School Senior

Avery’s Charlottesville senior session was the definition of a perfect evening. We had sunshine, hiking, dancing around fields, and an apple orchard. And of course, the night ended with the most glowy sunset. Honestly, it couldn’t have been prettier!

We kicked off her senior photos at Saunders-Monticello Trail with her first outfit. Her pretty white dress was perfection for the forest trails and the light streaming through the trees. From the second we started, Avery made the whole session easy and fun.

She is genuinely the sweetest human ever. Plus, she showed up excited for her senior photos and was willing to try any pose I threw her way. Energy is everything, and Avery absolutely brought it!

While we were at the trail, we spent our time hiking along the paths and dancing through the fields. Of course, we stopped every chance we had for that pretty light!

After exploring all over the trail, we headed to Carter Mountain Orchard for her outfit change. Our first location was pure magic. However, once we arrived at Carter Mountain, things somehow got even better! Seriously… what’s a word for better than magic??

The orchard was truly beautiful, and this part of her session was pure fun. We wandered through the rows of trees and soaked up the mountain views. Then we basically just frolicked through the orchard until the sun went down!

Avery was totally in her element, and her energy was contagious. Inspo out the wazoo!! Sessions like this are my favorite because it feels less like work and more like hanging out and having fun. That makes running this business of mine feels so dang worth it!

Finally, the night wrapped up with the most beautiful sunset glow. It was the perfect ending to such a great session.

Miss Avery girl, thank you for reminding me why I love my job so much! I had the best time exploring Charlottesville with you and capturing these special moments of your senior year.
