MAKE SURE you read this email in full to have the best success when booking your JMU grad photos. I apologize for the length but it is all super important so bear with me!
In the link provided, select your preferred date and time from the calendar. There will only be one session offered each morning and two each evening (morning and/or evening session availability depends on the day). I do this to serve you the best I possibly can and ensure you have the best light possible for your session.
Morning sessions will begin at 8am. Evening sessions will begin at 4pm and 6pm. Large group sessions in the evening may need to start earlier than the time you book to accommodate the extra half hour you receive so keep that in mind when choosing your date. WHICH EXPERIENCE IS BEST FOR YOU? If you’re stuck deciding which package for you, I hope this helps you decide! The Cap and Gown Experience is for you if you want a whole hour session to yourself. It allows you to have your friends (or pets!) pop into a couple photos if you want. That means you don’t have to schedule a whole group session just to have those shots. The Group Experience is for you if all of your friends want both individual photos and photos together. This can also be for a group that only wants photos together and no individuals.
SELECTING A DATE AND TIME DOES NOT RESERVE YOUR SPOT. Read this section very carefully! As soon as I see you’ve chosen a date, I will send a proposal over to your email, which will include a contract and invoice. The invoice will have 2 payments, the non-refundable retainer and the final payment. The retainer is what will reserve your date and time. I will send the proposal to you within 24 hours of you choosing a time. Following me sending the proposal, you will have 24 hours from the time I send you the proposal to pay the retainer. After those 24 hours expire, your date will be opened back up for other grads to book the spot. While I would love to hear from you, please do not email me just to let me know you chose your date and time and are waiting for the proposal. Additionally, if I send the proposal and receive no response from you, the time you chose will be opened back up again. Be vigilant with checking your email (and spam!!) and contact me only after you are (1) sure you haven’t received a proposal from me and (2) it has been 24 hours since you selected your date and time.
THE PROPOSAL will cover everything you need to know about the session, including information about rain rescheduling should you be concerned about that. To ease your mind, I have multiple dates reserved rain reschedules. After booking is confirmed, you will receive my in depth senior guide that will help plan your session, from choosing what to wear to when to show up and where!
IF YOU ARE PART OF A GROUP, only have ONE MEMBER of your group choose a date, but include everyone’s name and email where indicated. Select the number of people in your group to the best of your ability, but don’t worry if it’s off, if we need to add or remove a person, we absolutely can! Once I receive your selected date and time, I will send The Group Experience proposal to everyone you listed in your date reservation. For faster booking time, please begin collecting those names and emails now.
IF YOU ARE BOOKING MORE THAN ONE SESSION, yay! I’m so excited to have you twice! Go through the date selection for each session, ensuring that you choose the correct package each time. You’ll have separate projects for each session and will receive proposals designated to each session, they will not be together.
AFTER SELECTING YOUR DATE AND TIME, send in an inquiry to my website! If you have already done this prior to today, do not send in another one, I have your project saved for this reason! I will send the proposal to the inquiry already made. If you have never sent in an inquiry, visit amandacollphotography.com/contact, fill out the form with your date, and I’ll send your proposal.

$300/person for 5-7 people
